Lorenzo Ubaldi is a staff researcher at JSI and an affiliated member of the Institute for Fumandental Physics of the Universe (IFPU) in Trieste.
His research interests span from particle physics to cosmology. He has been investigating the nature of dark matter and several possible mechanisms for its production in the early universe. In the past few years his research has focused as well on vacuum decay in quantum field theory, which can have important implications in cosmological phase transitions that can produce gravitational waves.
