Martin Klanjšek is a senior research associate at JSI and an assistant professor of physics at the FMF UL. At JSI he is the head of the Laboratory for solid state nuclear magnetic resonance and the coordinator of the JSI colloquia.
His main research interest is quantum magnetism, with nuclear magnetic resonance as his primary experimental tool. His studies are focused on novel phases, excitations and phenomena in quantum magnets, such as quantum spin liquids, quantum criticality, Bose-Einstein condensation of magnons and anyonic excitations.
